When LOOK BACK IN LOVE hit the airwaves in 1968 was performing at the Lemon Tree Lounge on the outskirts of Waikiki in Hawaii. It was a consensus Billboard Spotlight pick in April predicted to rise high on the national charts and ranked 1 on KPOI, locally. By the time the band left the islands, the song was moving up the Billboard charts when current events changed the record's history.
