On this album, Eskelin continues to use his great talents to pump out poppish, driving rock with a strong message, but also produces some fantastic, slower worship pieces that could be sung in church where the worship is on the contemporary side, as well as some reflective tunes containing prayers and wisdom. This is a fantastic mix I am very happy to have purchased Some of the tunes remind me of my favorite PFR stuff. JFH Staff Review. Ian Eskelin Save The Humans. Artist Info:Discography Album length: 10 tracks Street Date: September 21, 2004. Most poprock fans know Ian Eskelin already from his All Star United fame. What few probably remember is Ian was on his own long before ASU became a band. Save The Humans doesn't stray very far from the pop-glazed alt rock sound of All Star United, but Eskelin does venture out a bit into worship music for a change. Shout leads off, a pop anthem encouraging listeners to live for Christ loudly through our actions and not our words. A catchy tune that could easily have been on an ASU record, Shout makes for a worthy album opener
