Death Carved in Every Word improves on everything that made Themes From Everyday Life a worthwhile listen. To begin with, the production is thicker and fuller than on Themes, doing the band's two-guitar attack justice. The vocals benefit from the production as well, sounding deeper and more entrenched. Listen free to Earthmover Death Carved In Every Word Fall Of Enchantment, Letting Go and more. 11 tracks 27:38. Earthmover is a three-piece instrumental rock band from Quezon City, Philippines. A Hardcore Band From Detroit, Michigan . Earthmover's earliest rumblings took place in late 1994, forming from the ashes of Detroit crossover stalwarts Scruffy Tearaways. Earthmover, however, seem to find the perfect balance of passionate heaviness on their second and final LP, Death Carved In Every Word. From the beginning, this album is big. Starting with a loud, downtuned guitar chord held and left to ring with pounding drums crashing around it, the atmosphere of the record is introduced in mere seconds. Splashes of dissonance are peppered throughout, until nothing is heard but mounds of feedback. Then it starts. The vocalist comes in, pissed as hell, and all the other band members join in on the angst, making a large, bone-crushing assault on the ears. Discussions of the Earthmover - Death Carved In Every Word Album

Detroit metalcore's finest. Killer and underrated record, still blows away most of nowdays "hardcore" bands. Equal part old school and new school (you know - the fast parts + the slow chugs to bring da Mosh lol . Only few call pull it in a way which doenst seems forced and trust me,Earthmover succeed in this like few others) the guys are a relentless machine stomping out your face and your existential malaise in the same time. Huge album.
Also available in an ugly brown vinyl, not sure how many were pressed though.
