Frisell expanded his working trio to a sextet for this 1992 recording, adding Don Byron on clarinet and bass clarinet, Billy Drewes on alto saxophone, and Curtis Fowlkes on trombone to his rhythm team of bassist Kermit Driscoll and drummer Joey Baron. This album really transcends genres. It can only be described as a Bill Frisell album. He breaks barriers and cliches and continues to amaze his peers and his fans with his chameleon-like musical personality. Only for completionists 0. Review by snobb SPECIAL COLLABORATOR Honorary Collaborator. Another absolutely great Frisell's album. Recorded with Bill's regular rhythm section bassist Kermit Driscoll and drummer Joey Baron, there collaborates brass trio on this album as well. It gave very nostalgic atmosphere to Frisell's usual sound - jazz fusion with country & western and American folk elements. Down tempo atmosphere music.
